They did a wonderful job with the dresses. They got here in a reasonable time. We looked beautiful!!

I ordered a dress for my sisters wedding from this company. First off let me start by saying that the quality of fabric looks nothing like what they advertise on their website. Secondly they sent me a dress where the zipper was broken upon arrival and I reached out with my concerns because the dress arrived that way. I was told by a representative named AVY that I broke the zipper because they made the dress too tight for me. In fact the dress was too large for me because they did not follow the measurements that I sent. The fact is that this company uses cheap products and false advertising. I requested to return the dress not even one day after I received it and they refused to refund me or offer any type of discount. This company is not worth wasting your time on purchasing products that will show up but they were not as advertised. Also the customer service is horrible to work with and do not care about making the customer happy. Some person named AVY keeps responding to my messages and refuses to help me but instead wants to put blame on the customer for the dress not arriving according to what they promised. I do not recommend purchasing anything from this company unless you want to be disappointed.

The dress fit very well.

I was very hesitant to make a purchase on this website and I wish I had listened to my intuition. To begin, they have a NOVEL for their return policy with multiple clauses to confuse any consumer. In addition, my dress arrived with poor stitching and they attempted to justify this by saying ' our stitching is done by hand and we space the stitching 1.5 cm to make it more comfortable and not tight'. Meanwhile, the photos I have sent to customer service clearly show the spacing is about half an inch apart and the strap is literally HANGING by a THREAD. Their return policy states that they honor returns for damaged goods but customer service didn't allow that. Instead, when discussing return policies with their competitiors, they stated that they looked on other websites and it matches their own return policy, such as Davids Bridal. Absolutely false. David's Bridal return policy does have a 7 day window but they allow EXCHANGES for up to 60 days. They conveniently left that part out when they screenshotted David's Bridal return policy to justify their own non-consumer driver return policy. I have referenced multiple online stores that have a more flexible and consumer driven return policy such as: Azazie, Kennedy Blue, and Birdy Grey to show customer service how their competitors are handling consumer complaints and concerns.

If I am paying full price for a dress AND $30.99 in shipping expenses, THE DRESS BETTER BE STITCHED CORRECTLY!

Please avoid this website at all cost. I have done research into other consumer led reviews about this company and they have had a poor experience as myself. 'Avy' is the consumer representative most reported in a negative light. Other consumers have posted screenshots of their exchange with this customer service rep.

Do not buy a dress from here if you are curvy. I’m athletic and have a butt and the dress was a terrible fit. The company asks for your specific measurements then does nothing about it. When I asked if I could exchange the dress they said I could take it to a tailor and spend even more money. The package took months from the ship date to arrive so according to them they wouldn’t take the dress back. Myself and 6 other females ordered different types of dresses for a wedding and it didn’t fit any of us correctly. The zippers are also very cheap and almost impossible to zip. Some actually broke. I’d rate 0 if I could.

I have been working with Chicsew for the past few months. I started off with ordering swatches to check out the fabric. I ordered several colors in one order but then forgot the color I liked the most and had to order a second time. The colors ended up beautiful, looked like what was on the website. Shipping took no longer than 15 days which I felt appropriate. I also reached out to customer service and received a response within a few days. The next order I purchased (3rd purchase) I ordered more swatches (so that wedding party would have an example for tuxes and such) and a meter of fabric. I was contacted by customer service to say the factory had been closed down and they were honest with me about it not opening up for the month of November. They gave me the option to cancel and I chose to keep my order and happy I did because they kept me up to date the entire way (thanks Avy). The meter of fabric was thicker than the swatch and just felt so nice. Heavy but with good stretch.
I just placed my order in for dresses and a separate order for more fabric to make the two mother of the bride/groom dresses. I ordered 10 bridesmaids dresses, all custom ordered with special request for splits. Each dress has a different bodice which is very helpful to the different sizes and frames of my bridesmaids party. I am hopeful that the dresses will be made to my liking and this far they have met all of my needs. I will come back to update.

DO NOT order from this website. We had a bridal party of 8 girls. $180 per dress for 8 girls you would think they would have been more empathetic to the fact that these dresses came weeks before our friends wedding and were ridiculously huge. Most of us did custom sizing and the dress came 3x the size literally 3 of us fit in one dress. Idk how they measure but there sizing is not true to size at all. Everyone had to pay an additional 150 to have these dresses altered to look half decent on us. These dresses are also made for very tall women. the slit was down to under my knee instead of my thigh. I'm 5'3 another part of the dress I had to get fixed. It also states when you order you get a free gift. we didn't get anything. We all emailed them if there wasn't anything they can do, this was a huge order and nothing but messed up dresses, because most were custom they don't allow refunds and the ones that were not custom wouldn't be replaced in time since there shipping is 30 days or longer. They were no help and didn't care even though they had just made pretty much $1500 off of us. Thank god i had a friend that does alterations and was able to get all 8 dresses fixed in time but this website is crap, never again.

Literally the worst company! DO NOT order your dresses or anything from them. They sent a dress with a zipper messed up & was only trying to send $30 to fix it. Refused to take accountability & adhere to their refund policy. Literally went back and forth with me via email in the most unprofessional manner. Go somewhere else. It’s not worth it. They also refused to take my dress back that they sent the wrong size. It has no tag on it that said the size and fit way too small. Had to pay a Taylor $200 more to fix it & b/c there wasn’t enough room for big alterations, the dress came out frumpy and unflattering. Either way, not worth it so all.

The dress is not true to size the whole wedding party dresses have to be altered and your policy to get dresses altered is too short

Awesome customer service! Great and fast shipping! Of course because it came in the mail it needs dry cleaned. The dress is gorgeous all of my bridesmaids ordered this dress in different colors and so far everyone we have received is beyond expectations would recommend this company to anyone looking for sexy but elegant dresses that are great quality! Will be posting photos once dresses are worn! Thank you chicsew for making my bridesmaids feel beautiful!

As pretty as the dresses are, the strap hooks were easily broken. Due to me ordering ahead of time I was not able to get my money back, but instead was told I should go to a tailor shop and get new ones.

The customer service was good. The quality of the product is terrible. The dress is nothing like the picture. I sent them my measurements and the dress was just poorly made. The back seam was off center, the material is super thick and bulky. Since it was a “custom” dress I can’t get a refund so I’m out all that money for a dress that I would not wear.

Hi my name is Stephanie and My wedding was on 7/16/22. My bridesmaids were quoted $450 for those dresses elsewhere. Then I went on Facebook and saw those same dresses from chicsew for less than $150. After great consideration, we decided it was worth the risk to order the dresses from online... I'm oh so glad we did! My bridesmaid and I were so happy with what we received and chicsew definitely exceeded our expectations. The dresses are hot, great quality and Chicsew also offered excellent consumer service to some of them who had ordered the wrong size. I would definitely recommend this website.

$30 for shipping that takes (possibly) over a month? If it weren't for this being the dress the bride wants I would never purchase from here.

This is a review left before I even got the dress, which I'm hoping is at least decent quality.

I ordered a dress custom made, dress arrived and was extremely too big and looked horrible! I could not alter due to the dress with the amount of work needed and no alteration place wanted to touch it. I was told to ship dress back for a 90 % refund. They received the dress per tracking information. Now I paid them for the dress, paid to send the dress back and do not have a dress the paid for or a refund they promised, I've been fighting it with my credit card company and they keep winning by saying I agreed to their terms and do not have a refund policy for custom dresses but made my dress wrong! They do not want to acknowledge they made dress incorrect as I provided my correct measurements!
